I have used the cam RAW tool with limited success. I’m using it at present on my iPad Pro and find it ok for general use but have found the following problems:
1. The new tool will not accept an image as a raw file from the Creative Cloud library, it only works with the downloaded image files from my camera. (I use a Nikon D750).
2. Neither photos taken with the new improved Camera Raw will open in the original photo app. The only way I can get those images back is to export them to a PC and open them there. What a way to lose everything!!
3. The Camera Raw version is 6.5.0 and I can’t find where to get the new version.
I am sure there is a better way to do this, maybe the new Lr CC is the answer. In the meantime what a frustration if you have your images and you want to update them.

Just purchased the latest update to the Camera Raw for the iPad and am hoping this will help me. I have used camera raw on a desktop computer for at least 15 years and there have been all kinds of improvements over the years.
