The resize command allows you to resize an image, including resizing only a sub-region of an image. The rotation tools for moving the image and controls for arranging the layers in the order they should appear in the final image, are available. It is difficult to use the rotation tools with a simple touch of a mouse wheel or move them with the scroll button since the image is too small and one may be confused where exactly in the image the horizontal or vertical axis is.

It would be nice if there were tools for drawing lines in the image to simplify selection as well as tools to resize the image to certain aspect ratio like 4:3 but to do so may need to duplicate each layer which is time-consuming.

DPP has a virtually endless list of settings for color balance, highlights, shadows etc. The adjustments are many, compared to ACR. The color balance can be adjusted with a single click of the wheel or changing a slider. There are not 10 presets available to use, more are to be added. This is beneficial in that one can adjust a color to taste. However, there are no options for Saturation.
