At first blush, I like it. Thats another way of saying I dont really know much about it, and I think there may be some features that I will love that I will overlook. I didnt particularly like the UI (Ableton calls it the Arrangement View) in previous versions, and theres no question that having tabbed views is a game changer. Theres also an overwhelming amount of features, and I havent even covered the graphical editing tools.In fact, I dont know that I could do all of the work on a house track before I would explore the control surfaces. But, I just want a to express how great I think this stuff is, so that when I screw it up, you know that its a learning experience.

Then when you record the audio clip, youll have a clip recorded to the audio track AND to the midi track. Which, if youre doing anything right, is a really really bad idea.
